Hi! This is my picture from the Vegas 97 Romances concert premiere.
What can I say about myself?... There was a time in my life, when
I was very ill. I lived with pain every minute of every day, for
6 years. The only way that I could keep from giving in to the pain
was by completely shutting off all my emotions & feelings.
I did gradually improve, but...I was totally beaten by life, both
physically & emotionally.
Then I heard the music of Luis Miguel. He reopened all the doors
to my emotions that I had nailed shut, & brought me back to life!
Life is the sweet combination of being, doing & feeling, without
either of these three, we do not truly exist.
It is no surprise that I am now addicted to him - He is strong medicine!

ESPAÑOL: Aquí tienes la foto de mi cuando asisté el concierto de RomanceS en Las Vegas. ¿Y qué puedo decirles de mí misma?
Hubo en mi vida una larga época de enfermedad abrumante. Durante seis años vivía, o más bien existía, acompañada por el dolor cada minuto de cada día. La única manera que podía evitar dejarme vencer totalmente por el dolor fue bloquear por completo toda sensación, toda emoción, no dejarme sentir nada. Poco a poco iba mejorando, pero quedaba totalmente abatida por la vida, incapacitada tanto en lo físico como en lo emocional.
Un día por casualidad oí cantar a Luis Miguel. Su voz volvió a abrir todas las puertas a mi ser que había yo trancado, y me devolvió la vida, esa dulce mezcla de ser, hacer, y sentir. Sin cualquiera de esos elementos, no existimos plenamente.
No les sorprenderá que me haya quedado adicta a Luis Miguel. ¡Tiene poderes mágicos!
